My Story

I am half Spanish, bilingual since birth. My life has been split amongst Spain and the UK. There are a lot of chefs in my family.

In 2010, 20,000 people applied for MasterChef and I was one of the 20 contestants selected to take part in the 2011 show. It was exciting and a bit nerve wrecking! After the experience I set up as a sole trader and started a Spanish street-food stall in the Winchester market. From there I started getting enquiries for parties. I have since catered for weddings and big corporate events, local community type events, as well as for local people who fancy a little treat or a night off cooking!

I have 'paelleras' that feed up to 0 people (This is particularly popular for summer garden parties) but I also have sizes for smaller events too.

I had scores of parties cancelled in 2020 but as restaurants were closed, I had a growing number of enquiries for deliveries of mainly tapas (delivered in earthenware dishes ready to pop in the oven) and paellas with accompanying bottles of freshly made stock ready to finish on the hob at home. I was extremely busy when the local restaurants were closed and as a result I broadened my client base.

It all began in San Sebastian, Malaga, Cordoba and a market stall in Winchester
